On May 2 the 2017 Pudlo Guide to Paris was launched at a reception held at George V Four Seasons hotel. This reception awards the best chefs and restaurants in the region. This event is one of the most important for chefs and restaurants in France. More than 300 people from the food service industry, chefs and media participated. FAS Paris took advantage of it to promote American food ingredients—particularly the Cranberry Marketing Committee and the U.S. Sweet Potatoes Council. Famous Pastry Chef Jonathan Blot created innovative recipe using the two ingredients just for this event. Showcasing U.S. cranberries and sweet potatoes at this event raised awareness across the industry about the U.S. quality, originality and versatility of incorporating these high-value U.S. products into their menus.
